OUR MISSION
The Yolo County IHSS Public Authority is a public agency whose purpose is to improve In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), and does so primarily by operating a registry to help connect IHSS consumers and caregivers.
OUR SERVICES
Yolo County IHSS Public Authority serves IHSS consumers and caregivers by:
Maintaining a Registry of IHSS caregivers available for employment
Providing IHSS consumers with free referral listings of available caregivers
Assisting IHSS consumers with finding temporary caregivers through Home Care Now and the State Back-Up Provider programs
Recruiting and screening IHSS caregivers
Providing training for IHSS Consumers and caregivers
Managing health, vision & dental benefits for eligible IHSS caregivers

GOVERNING BOARD
Yolo County IHSS Public Authority is governed by the Yolo County Board of Supervisors.
